Separate each charge

Ask about admission, registration, table or seat charges, required orders, drinks, service charges, taxes and time extensions. A headline price may cover only one part of the visit. Confirm whether re-entry is included and whether an event has a separate ticket.

Do not mistake examples for prices

HAPBAR does not publish an unverified national price range. Venue, date, event and entry category can affect charges. Use a current official price list and ask for a written explanation if anything is unclear. Decide a spending limit and reserve money for getting home.

Before handing over payment

Check accepted payment methods and keep the receipt. If an extra order is offered, ask its price first. When the bill differs from what was explained, calmly ask for an itemized breakdown. Do not follow street touts to an unverified venue.
