A concept may concern conversation, performance, music or an event format. “Waidan” generally refers to adult-themed conversation, but each bar sets its own boundaries. Check whether the event is hosted, whether audience participation is expected and which language is used.
Enjoy the conversation without pressure
You can decline personal questions or choose to listen. Do not request identifying details about someone’s partner, workplace or private life. Check minimum orders, seating charges and whether tickets include drinks. A themed conversation bar should not be confused with a promise of personal services.
